BIO
Beth’s award-winning work has been performed at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the UN, in New York City, across the US, Asia and in Europe. She has earned numerous awards, including the Director's Choice Award (the New York Musical Festival), winner of the National Art Song competition, 2nd Stage Excellence in Musical Theatre Award, and a grant from the Jonathan Larson Foundation. Her musical The Mistress Cycle has been produced in New York, London, twice in Chicago and DC.
Most recently, Beth has been dramatizing stories of Forgotten Women of France. In Paris, she performed her site-specific one-woman play, Marie-Thérèse, inspired by the daughter of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette at la Chapelle Expiatoire. Her play with music, Unsung/Inconnue, created during an artistic residence at the Chateau de La Napoule, continues to be presented there every summer as a visite theatralisée.
Beth is the founder of Hope Sings, the for-benefit music business whose mission is to harness the power of song and true, inspiring story to support women. Notable projects include the anthem for UN Women, the first-ever anthem for a UN agency, which she conceived and produced and for which she wrote the lyric.
