Do we all need a little music, laughter - a little joy? (I do!)
If you're in the south of France...
Please join us for
Liberté, Baby!
A rousing affirmation
of freedom of expression
We're partnering with Fall Of Freedom - so you get a chance to join artists like musician John Legend, film director Ava DuVernay and author Ann Patchett in making/riding creative waves for a better world.
(ok they won't be here in person - but they will be in spirit!)

Come share a song, a poem, a story, some stand-up, your video or short film, your painting/photography/sculpture.
It doesn't have to be political - or even in English - as long as it's from the heart. Uplifting and positive is particularly welcome!
Or just come to laugh, listen, learn - and lift a glass to standing up for justice, equality and freedom of expression around the world.
There are over 500 events, large and small, already scheduled - and we're on the map!

Saturday, November 22 - 5:30-8pm. La Fourmilière in Antibes.
Stop in when/for as long as you like. Drinks and snacks available for purchase.
ABOUT FALL OF FREEDOM
Threats to free expression are rising. Dissent is being criminalized. Institutions
and media have been recast as mouthpieces of propaganda.
This Fall, we are activating a nationwide wave of creative resistance. Beginning
November 21–22, 2025, galleries, museums, libraries, comedy clubs, theaters,
and concert halls across the country will host exhibitions, performances,
and public events that channel the urgency of this moment.

An amazing list of artists have pledged to take part in the US - so they won't be in Antibes in person, but they will be in spirit:
Ava DuVernay (Filmmaker)
Michael Moore (Filmmaker)

Téa Leoni (Actor)
Lynn Nottage (Pulitzer Prize-winning Playwright and co-initiator)
